Once you register for the free trial you will have 3 minutes of calls to test ChanSkype
on our Asterisk servers. Feel free to call any of your Skype buddies!

Step 1: Register.
Please enter a valid email address. Upon submission, you will promptly receive an email with your callcode
and a link to download ChanSkype for local testing.
Step 2: Configure your SIP softphone.
Configure your SIP softphone to register at sip.chanskype.com with username "trysip". The password field can be left blank. Allowed codecs are: ILBC, GSM, G.711u, and G.711a.
Step 3: Dial away!
Once you have received an email with your callcode and have successfully registered your softphone with our Asterisk servers,
you'll be able to place a call to an online Skype account.
Your dial string should be composed of the callcode you received, a dash, and the desired Skype username. It should look something like this:
"12345678-echo123"
